master-bedroom boys-room

The apartment they have been preparing for us is not yet ready. In the mean time we are living in a 400 square foot apartment that has two bedrooms, bathroom, sitting area, and kitchenette. Though it is small we are settled in and have made it our home.

We have also begun enjoying the benefits of living on campus. One benefit is all the space for Chesley to explore and ride his bike. Another great thing is that Karl walks to work every day now since it’s just a few buildings down from us. One thing that Denise in particular has enjoyed is our view. How great to be able to look out on the water from our front window!

Very cool you guys! Now you are like me! Once living on a lake you will never NOT live on a lake. Way too nice! Hope all is well! Keep in touch!!!!

Wow - 400 sq feet is quite close quarters! It looks like you’ve already made it look like a home! Hope your apartment gets finished soon - any idea of how long that will take?

  3. Yes, it is very tight. I was careful only keep out only the essentials. The rest of it is all in storage. In some ways it’s surprising what all I can live without without missing. Yet, I don’t quite feel at home knowing that all my craft stuff and kitchen stuff isn’t available. :)

We’re not sure how long it will be before our place is done. They are suppose to get working on it again here soon. They had to stop work on it to replace the roof of the academy building that blew off in a tornado a few months ago. The roof is finally almost done here so hopefully we’ll be in our place by Christmas. At least, that’s what I’m hoping for. :)
