		<description>Hi Karl,

Sounds very familiar! A little over a year ago my daughter had the same experience. We have a walk-through kitchen leading to a dining room (which has a hardwood floor), then the living room, winding back to the front entrance hall and into the kitchen again. In other words, there's a path around the main floor, and my kids decided to play "baseball". While my daughter was running through the bases, she entered the dining room (1st base) and tried to make a hard left to head for second base. At this point she hit the hardwood floor, with socks on, and her feet slipped right out from under her. As she fell, she reached out to stop her fall and landed hard on her hand. She began complaining of pain too, but we sat and waited to see if it was going to swell or not. It looked OK and I put a brace on her wrist to help support it and the pain was mostly releaved, so we thought she merely sprained it. However, several hours later (now about 9:30PM), it was looking a bit more swollen and tender, so my wife took her to the hospital. Sure enough, a buckle fracture at the wrist! By the time the cast was put on they returned home around 2:00AM!! She wore it for about 4 weeks, showing it to everyone, but all is well now. Funny, that kids find wearing a cast something to be proud of!
