As we posted previously, my brother and I decided to test out the motorized skateboard. Due to popular demand, I put two clips together, edited with iMovie and posted it to YouTube.

Check it out! Karl recently was given this motorized skateboard.

He had to fill it with a gas/oil mixture and clean the dirt out of the exhaust. Then it was ready to go.

Only problem… it’s extremely hard to ride. With some practice around the yard Karl is now able to stay on it for longer periods of time. It’s lots of fun to watch!

Last weekend we got several inches of dreaded snow. Today the it is limited to a few shady spots in the yard as the temperature rises up to the low 50s. No need to buy sand for the sandbox when there’s snow available to make great snow castles! As you can see, the boys had a lot of fun!

On Saturday we went to a park and brought some old bread. Any ideas what the bread was for?

You got it, we wanted to feed some birds. The only bird we could find who was interested was a large white goose. He seemed to be hungry, but he hissed a lot making sure we kept our distance.  The boys had a good time running off some energy and playing at the playground.

On Sunday we had temperatures up in the mid-30’s!! It was so nice for it not to be frigid cold that we had to get some fresh air and sunshine.

Does mid-30’s sound warm to you?

Our boys received a bunch of dress up clothes for Christmas this year, including clown outfits. So, one day they both dressed up and we went grocery shopping! Chesley loved all the extra attention we got at the store. It was funny to see everyone’s reaction, especially other kids.
