Two months ago we reported to you that our support was at 4% and then the following month we saw it drop. We are are excited to be able to tell you that this last month we went up to 10%!

This quick increase is largely due to the many generous one time gifts and donations as we traveled to various churches in Washington. We are still asking God to provide more financial partners in churches and individuals who want to invest with us on a monthly basis.

We are continually reminded that even a little bit from many goes a long way towards reaching our goal.

Thank you everyone!

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phillipians 4:19

So many have asked me how our garage sale went this last weekend. Well… it went great! The weather was perfectly sunny, warm… but not too hot. We ended up having a ton of stuff to sell which is good. And, we had a good turn out with most of the traffic coming on Friday.

To all of our surprise, we ended up making $277!

We still have a lot of stuff left over so we are planning on having another garage sale in two weeks at Aunt Cheryl’s house.

The old song written by John Peterson goes…

He owns the cattle on a thousand hills,
The wealth in every mine;
He owns the rivers and the rocks and rills,
The sun and stars that shine.
Wonderful riches, more than tongue can tell -
He is my Father so they’re mine as well;
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills -
I know that He will care for me.

My parents taught me this song as a kid and I find the tune ringing in my ears. All the money in the world is His and He is my Heavenly Father. I’ve heard so much complaining about our economy and how hard things are today. It’s important to remember that He will provide our needs.

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? …But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Matthew 6:26, 33-34

We are at the beginning stages of raising our support, enabling us to be full time missionaries. Our goal is to start our ministry October 1, 2009. With God, all things are possible! We are encouraged to press on as we see God raising up people to partner with us. As you can see, we are at 4% support!
