A year ago we started what looks to be a yearly tradition of raspberry picking. We again went to Rowe's Farm near Mason, MI and had a great time. Chesley and Kaden both ate as many berries as they could while Karl and I filled the containers. As you can see, we had a wonderful time!
Karl and I were looking at favorite pictures of Chesley on our fridge just a few days ago. We were commenting on how much Chesley has changed in the last several years and how he still has that same big smile. He's growing up so fast!
I know you may be tired of the cold and longing for spring. But, last week I woke up to a fresh coat of snow on the ground and was once again in awe of the beauty of God's creation.
He spreads snow like a white fleece, he scatters frost like ashes, He broadcasts hail like birdseed— who can survive his winter? Then he gives the command and it all melts; he breathes on winter—suddenly it's spring!

Kaden is over ten months and is a very different baby than he was just a month or two ago. Why? He is crawling all over now and enjoys following Chesley around the house. He also finally has his first teeth, the two bottom, both of which he got the same week he began to crawl. With his strawberry blond hair and big blue eyes, he's a cute kid!
