This last weekend we took a vacation and drove to Lancaster, PA for Buddy's wedding. Karl was honored to be Buddy's best man. They were room-mates at Bible School and I met him on our missions trip in Papua New Guinea. (That's the same missions trip where Karl and I first met.) We had a great time getting to know Lindsay and catching up with Buddy. We love you guys!
We were all disappointed when Alan called and said they had broken down and wouldn't be coming for the visit that had been planned this week. But then the next day when the car was fixed the visit was a go. Alan, Rachel, Judah, and Miriam all made it here and spent the night with us. Chesley and Judah hit it off just like old times. Miriam adored Kaden the “bi-bi”. Karl stayed up late to chat with Alan even though he had to be at work first thing in the morning. Everyone had a good time. Rachel and I talked all day, catching up where we left off when we graduated 6 months ago. We even managed to take the kids to a playground to get some fresh air!
