The Lamb, Our Lamb
Sunday, March 23rd, 2008Around this time of the year I find myself replaying the story in this book called The Lamb.
In Old Testament times the Israelites had to bring a lamb to an altar to die in order to pay for their sin. But this was not a long term solution. They continually had to bring another lamb every time they sinned. But Jesus was the final lamb. No longer do we have to bring a lamb every time we sin. Jesus paid for all our sin. Jesus is the Lamb, our Lamb!
(For any of you who have never heard of this book, it is really great.)
Happy Valentines Day
Thursday, February 14th, 2008Christmas Tree
Sunday, December 23rd, 2007You may remember our home-made Christmas tree that we used last year. Well, we decided to drag it out for one last year before we toss it. So… it sits in our living room and is the topic of conversation when guests drop in.
Hope you enjoy these pictures by the tree.
