I know you may be tired of the cold and longing for spring. But, last week I woke up to a fresh coat of snow on the ground and was once again in awe of the beauty of God's creation.

He spreads snow like a white fleece, he scatters frost like ashes, He broadcasts hail like birdseed— who can survive his winter? Then he gives the command and it all melts; he breathes on winter—suddenly it's spring!
Psalm 147:16-18

We had a snow storm come through Michigan that had most of the schools in our area canceled for the day. So we decided to take advantage of the snow and go have some fun. As you can see, Chesley and Kaden had a great time playing for the short time we spent out in the cold.

Yesterday it was such a warm day so we got out for a walk around the block. Chesley rode his bike while I carried Kaden in the backpack carrier we have. It was a short walk but very enjoyable. Now I'm eager to get out again today!

Where's the end of the rainbow?

Ever wonder where the end of the rainbow is? Well, it's right outside our window! Yesterday we peaked out our window to see if it was raining only to find a giant, vibrant rainbow ending right down in the valley behind our place! It turned into a perfect opportunity to review with Chesley the promise God made when He first put the rainbow in the sky.

It was nearly 40 degrees F  when we got out today and went for a walk. I carried Kaden in the front pack and Chesley rode his bike. We weren't out too long but it felt so good to have the sun beating down on us!
